Though initially not from Indiana, Austin has been raised as a Hoosier since he was seven, growing up in the small town of Bainbridge, Indiana, where he spent most of his time living on a farm surrounded by dogs, cats, rabbits, goats, sheep, horses, and even alpacas.
In 2018, Austin attended Grace College in Winona Lake, Indiana, where he graduated with his Bachelor of Arts degree, majoring in History. He also earned the distinguished honor of Summa Cum Laude. While in college, Austin met his wife, who is also named Grace.
After graduating college, Austin went on to attend law school at Ohio Northern University Pettit College of Law in Ada, Ohio, where he earned his Juris Doctorate degree and graduated Magna Cum Laude. While in law school, Austin interned at the Hardin County Prosecutor’s Office, where he assisted the county in various criminal trials, working both in and out of the courtroom.
After law school, Austin and Grace moved back to Indiana, specifically wanting to return to Northern Indiana close to where they met, and quickly found Fort Wayne to be their new home.
Austin enjoys watching movies, trying new foods, traveling, and spending time with his family and friends.
